One of the most important historical-folkloric-cultural oases is undoubtedly the Folklore Museum of Agia Anna in Northern Evia, founded by the late great Agiannian folklorist Dimitris Settas.

The museum was inaugurated on July 25, 1982 and until 2002 was housed in a rented building. It was then moved to a privately owned space, where it is housed to this day and which is a donation of Angeliki Malamou, Xenophon Strafiotis, in memory of her daughter Krystallia Diakomopoulos.

In the museum one can see, through its exhibits, the history of the wider area of ​​Niles from the Turkish occupation to the present day.
The museum's exhibits include household and textile items, agricultural tools, as well as tools used in animal husbandry, weapons, traditional knitting and weaving, rich photographic material from the archive of Dimitris Settas and a small library, which contains many of the works of.

But what catches the eye of every visitor is the unique and beautiful Agianio costume. All the exhibits of the museum come from the wider area of ​​Agia Anna and the surrounding villages, but also from other areas of Northern Evia and are living proof of the tireless effort to gather folklore material by its founder.
